The frames have a cameo or balloon back with vibrant mustard yellow velvet upholstery embellished with patinated brass tack nailheads on the borders. The walnut has a rich, dark finish that showcases the woodgrains. The generous seat has carved rosettes on the apron corners in the neoclassical style supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet. The chairs are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The vintage velvet fabric shows well given age and use and blends beautifully with the walnut and brass.
