This vintage print depicts a lone U.S. Postal Service worker braving a fierce winter storm, trudging through deep snow on snowshoes with telegraph poles stretching into the blizzard. The piece is a tribute to the endurance and resilience of America’s mail carriers, inspired by the famous phrase associated with the Postal Service: “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.”
