Created by California artist Simi Dabah, (b. 1927).

This sculpture is very heavy (15 lbs.) and stands 16” high, together with a light red wash applied to its surface.

Since Dabah is in his late 90’s he no longer constructs any art. Dabah is widely known for large outdoor sculptures. In fact, Dabah started creating abstract sculptures in the 1980's whereby he created more than 2,000 pieces of art. It wasn't until recently that his work was for sale. Beforehand, Dabah donated his sculptures to public institutions across the country. And now since his work is sold publicly, all the proceeds of those sales go to charity. This sculpture happens to not be signed which isn't unusual for his work. And this sculpture would be great on a pedestal of its own for use indoors or out. Measurements; 16" high X 12" wide X 12' deep. Weighs 15 pounds, unsigned but guaranteed to be by Simi Dabah as he doesn't sign his work or title it. See less
