This vintage print is after a circa 1805 engraving titled Le Amazone jaune Pl. 90 by important French zoological engraver, Jacques Barranand (1768-1809). The inner matte is hand colored, the larger matte is marbled. All in a rectangular frame with wood veneers, gilt borders, and gilt metal embellishments in corners. This print has not been removed from the frame.
Print (within innner matte): 4 1/4 in. x 5 3/4 in.
Frame: 16 3/8 in. x 14 1/2 in.
