Built heavy duty and comprised of glass lens, phenolic plastic shade/steel joints and cast aluminum base all extremely well engineered and manufactured. Adjustable magnifier light lens with its' attached double jointed shade assembly is securely hinged to the lengthy armature tube for angle adjusting, then the entire multi jointed connecting unit can be adjusted up and down via the solid steel & cast aluminum base assembly. Manufactures "Singer SLF-2"markings are partially intact on shade castings. See less

Just light signs of wear with no abuse or repair, only normal surface wear to the Black finishes. The original complete lighting assembly has been inspected and appears safe and functional, the internal light is controlled at the toggle switch socket via newly rewired braided cotton wrapped insulated power cord. all is safe & functional.
