Exquisite antique oil lamp featuring the renowned Herold burner, manufactured by Brendel & Löwig of Berlin, Germany, circa 1900. The ornate spelter base is richly decorated with two finely modeled putti surrounded by detailed foliage and scrollwork, supporting a swirling, textured column.
The lamp retains its original brass burner, clearly stamped Herold Brenner Patent and Made in Germany. The etched glass globe, adorned with Greek key and star motifs, enhances the lamp’s romantic and neoclassical character.
A rare and beautifully preserved example of turn-of-the-century German craftsmanship, perfect for collectors of fine antique lighting.
