the sofa is marked underneath with the original c&b italia stamp. In 1973 c&b italia became b&b italia when piero busnelli bought the shares of cesare cassina. So c&b made the bambole only for 1 year.
the sofa is made of the original gran zebu leather (marked on the leather), a leather kind known for its exceptional quality, and is executed in the sought after cognac/brown colour. The leather gained a fantastic patina over the years and is still in very good condition, no damages, no crackles. The interior of the seat has been refilled in the original way.

the iconic bambole series has been awarded with the prestigious compasso d'oro in 1979.
