This educational poster, "REPTILES, BATRACIENS" (Reptiles, Amphibians), numbered 5, dates from the 1950s.
It is one of a series of educational posters designed by Emile Deyrolle, a French naturalist and natural history dealer in Paris who took over his grandfather's business in 1866. He produced many educational posters on a variety of topics, from anatomy to winemaking.
This stunning, unusual piece of decor is in good vintage condition with light, age-related wear!
The poster has been carefully cleaned with a soft brush and cloth. This piece has an attribution mark,
