This is a Large vintage Rice Paddy hat - handcrafted.
Yes it is is still usable as a hat but I love the idea of it as wall decor. It is art.
The color and patina are stunning.... a rich mahogany brown.
A few imperfections on the rattan straw...due to age but nevertheless a stunning piece or work.
