This is a gorgeous antique French Country Louis XIV buffet, sideboard, or server made of what appears to be walnut, incredibly heavy and solid, and believed to be from the late 18th or early 19th century.
It features two drawers under a large shelf in the right cabinet, a movable shelf in the left , a large movable shelf in the larger middle cabinet, keys that work to lock the piece, gorgeous hardware, carvings, and ball and claw feet, and plenty of surface space.
Solid, sturdy, and functional, with cosmetic imperfections consistent with age. Key locks side cabinets, center does not seem to fully lock, despite the key turning. Left door of center cabinet secures in place with top and bottom latches.
