This painting is characteristic of the artist’s use of acrylic paint with found materials and in his style of using drips and swirls of paint. It is signed across the bottom front (Cyrstoper), which was his childhood name. Painted on heavy bead board. Naturally, it could be framed, currently there are two small holes towards the top, when the artist hung this work by wire in front of a window, which is exactly what Shoemaker did.

Shoemaker started painting in 2000. Inspired by the late street artist, Purvis Young from Florida. Shoemaker started by taking found materials and began painting on whatever looked good to paint on. His work immediately took off. Shortly thereafter, his paintings began being collected worldwide. In fact, he had several one man exhibitions at the gallery in Cathedral City, CA known as Colin Fisher Studios. (See a photo of the artist in the photos provided).
