The perfect island in your new kitchen reno… the piece has been left in its original condition but can easily be sanded, refinished and sealed if you prefer that look. There will be an additional charge for that service but that can be done prior to shipping the piece of course. There are some cracks starting to appear but nothing too concerning and they just add to the character and charm of this old and amazing piece. Most of these old finds have four legs but the pedestal base on this one sets this butcher block apart from the others by leaps & bounds. This is not a solid butcher block which actually helps with transport and handling of the piece yet you have the true look and feel of a real antique butcher block. (Just not the bulk) This piece is a must for any farmhouse or country kitchen and will add character and charm to the room that only these old pieces can. See less
