The artist is Everett Lloyd Bryant (1864-1945), who lived in the US (PA, CA, MD, and OH) and became quite renowned. This signed piece was purchased at an auction in Bumpass, VA, and was framed by Purnell Galleries in Baltimore, MD. Although this is one of Bryant's smaller works, his larger, impressionist pieces sell in the thousands. It's either oil or tempera paint on board. There is some wear and tear consistent with age, but none of it impacts the integrity of the work. See less
