This rare drawer cabinet, designed by Sandro Petti and manufactured by Angolometalarte in France in 1977, is a stunning example of sophisticated design and craftsmanship. The cabinet’s striking composition features sharp lines and geometric shapes, creating a refined structure that embodies elegance and modernity. Its surface is fully clad in dark grey mirrored glass, which not only reflects the surrounding light but also adds a luminous, almost ethereal quality to the space it inhabits. Built with functionality in mind, the cabinet consists of 10 drawers in varying sizes, from small to large, offering ample and versatile storage space. Each drawer is framed with a brass border, which beautifully complements the grey-colored mirrored glass, adding a luxurious touch to the design. The inside of each drawer is laminated with black laminate, which again points its quality. The combination of the chromed steel frame, brass accents, and mirrored surfaces creates a sleek, chic aesthetic that is both glamorous and timeless. A noteworthy design feature is the cabinet’s legs, which are executed in a sculptural, angular style, enhancing the overall clarity and structure of the piece. These well-proportioned legs not only provide stability but also emphasize the precision and attention to detail that went into its creation. On either side of the cabinet, small brass handle-like hangers add a subtle decorative touch, further elevating its elegant design. The cabinet is in outstanding original condition, with no notable signs of wear, a testament to the superior quality of its construction and materials. It is a perfect example of highly refined, well-made furniture, offering both aesthetic appeal and practicality, making it a standout piece for any luxurious interior. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
