The piece dates to the late 19th C or early 20th C. The brass metal work is hand wrought and used extensively throughout the piece. The front two doors open to reveal a locked cabinet with the original keys and 7 drawers each with a brass escutcheon and brass ring pull. The cabinet measures 20.75" H; 20" W and 14.5" D. The piece shows some wear but is in excellent condition. This kind of a cabinet was used to store spices and other valuable items. See less
