"For me, art is about honoring spirit- creating a touchstone that opens the gateway to the divine. Art lifts the veil between the inner and outer world, connecting us through feeling. Whether it be a simple cup held in the hands that evokes a tender memory of a place or a large painting or sculpture we hold in our sights that evokes the memory of our own empowerment, art connects us to the essence of being. It is my intention in creating to inspire and rouse the human spirit through elements of nature, archetypes, and folklore; to remember the simple magic that is within us and all around us."
