The body is made of veneered wood, deliberately combining two different veneer patterns: the doors of the upper glass section are in a light, vibrantly flamed birch veneer, while the rest of the body is in a warmer, reddish-brown tone – presumably reddish-stained oak. The slanted legs with brass-colored feet give the unit a light, elegant appearance and are reminiscent of scandinavian models of the era. Five wide, handleless drawers and four double doors in the lower section offer ample enclosed storage space. At the top left is a display cabinet with a glass shelf, and to the right is a two-door, enclosed storage compartment. According to the label, the unit dates from 1963 and was produced in the federal republic of germany.

condition: the condition of the sideboard is very good considering its age. The surface shows only minimal signs of wear, the veneer is evenly preserved, and the drawers and doors function perfectly. All original fittings and locks are intact. An authentic piece of furniture with a well-documented provenance and a design typical of the period.
