its striking feature is the extremely high, lattice-like backrest with its strictly geometric structure, which serves as both a decorative and architectural element and clearly attributes the design to mackintosh's arts and crafts and art nouveau influences.

the body is made of black-stained ash, which visually emphasizes the slender construction, while the horizontal ribs of the backrest and frames create a harmonious grid. The seat is upholstered and covered in a special shimmering green velour, whose elegant texture provides a soft contrast to the strict lines of the wooden frame.

the chair comes with a replacement fabric, also purchased from cassina, in its original packaging and intended for reupholstery. The underside bears the manufacturer's imprint with the cassina logo, mackintosh signature, and serial number, along with the original product card with the model name, year of design, material information, and references to important exhibitions and publications.

condition: the chair is in good, used condition with slight signs of wear on the wooden frame, such as small edge chips and fine surface scratches. The current velour upholstery shows wear and some pressure marks or discoloration in places, but can easily be replaced thanks to the included original fabric. The construction is stable, the backrest is firm, and all manufacturer's markings are clearly visible.
