each … Read more Rare set of 8 identical scandinavian pendant lamps by pukeberg glasbruk, sweden, circa 1970s, originating from a church interior.
each lamp consists of three large, hand-blown frosted glass globes attached to a black metal frame with subtle industrial lines. The design exudes the minimalist elegance of scandinavian modernism.

yes, i can clearly see the sticker: "made in sweden" in a turquoise circle with white lettering.
this type of label was widely used by swedish glassworks in the 1950s–1970s, including pukeberg, orrefors, kosta boda, and a few smaller manufacturers.
the exact design (small, round, turquoise) is most often found with pukeberg glasbruk and occasionally with asea lamps (when glass and fixtures were combined).

the style and size of these lamps are similar to pukeberg's zero and church lighting series, making their attribution to this famous glassworks very plausible.

note:

7 sets have bulbs that are closed at the bottom.

1 set has bulbs that are open at the bottom (see last photo).
