A paper maché and brass armadillo attributed to the Sergio Bustamante (Mexico, 1949-). The piece is unsigned but matches identical pieces that we have found online bearing the artists signature. We are, therefore, very comfortable with the attribution. The armadillo is 17" tall, 29" wide, and 10" deep. Appears to have been produced in the late 20th century.
Very good vintage condition with wear commensurate with age and use. There is paint loss at the tips of the feet as well as small areas of paint loss in other areas. Please examine all photos.
