Nicknamed the 'kettle telephone' due to its likeness of the traditional stovetop kettles of the era.

what a stylish (and literal) talking piece for the hallway, living room or home office. This telephone boasts deco charm and sophisticated design and would be perfect for a 30's inspired interior or those wishing to mix in elements of the old and new.

featuring a zinc alloy casing painted black with gold decorative transfer detailing the makers name, brass rotating carry handle and rotary dial case, white star emblem to the rear and rtt emblem to the front. The base displays the model number, rtt 56 b. The phone has been converted to feature a modern uk line cable and connection but i am unsure if this is in working order.

please note the phone has a number of scratches and loss of the decorative gold transfer to the body. There is a dent to the brass rotary dial casing, damage to the white bakelite rotary backing displaying the numbers (partial loss to the number '8') and some edge nibbles to the bakelite handset - please see images for further detail.
