A beautiful oak sewing storage chest-come-side-table featuring a lifting lid, under drawer and a lined interior to both compartments.
this is the ideal piece for someone looking for a beautiful piece of furniture to house those required items that you need close to hand but don't particularly want on display.
the chest is in great vintage condition albeit there are some condition issues commensurate with age/use. Namely there are areas where the lining fabric is detaching from the wood to both chest and drawer and staining to the fabric. In addition there is evidence of past woodworm damage to the outer drawer front. Please see images for further detail.
