1970s sideboard by Gastone Rinaldi for Rima.
Minimalist sideboard with straight, clean lines.
Chromed tubular steel legs, veneered wood body with two sliding doors with steel trim.
Interiorly, the sideboard features four white laminate drawers on the right and two sliding, removable shelves that can serve as trays.
On the left, a large compartment divided by a shelf, adjustable as desired.
Designed by Gastone Rinaldi, a Paduan designer who was active throughout most of the 20th century.
For most of his extremely prolific career, he worked for Rima, a company founded by his father in 1916.
The sideboard is in excellent condition, showing minor, obvious signs of aging and a light patina. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
