These elegant and versatile Series 7 chairs was introduced in 1955 by the Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen and instantly became an iconic design.
The Series 7 chair achieved global recognition after its debut at the H55 exhibition in Sweden in 1955 and It is by far the most sold chair in the history of Fritz Hansen.
Very comfortable bentwood seat shell, the chair's unique ergonomic shape is achieved through a single piece of pressure-molded veneer for the seat and back, made from 9 layers for strength, flexibility, and durability.
They are stackable and feature a distinctive curved back and a waterfall seat edge designed for comfort, emphasizing practicality alongside its elegant form.
