This 30" x 24" painting displays a mother wolf heading back to the den with the spirit raven flying alongside … Read more This 30" x 24" painting displays a mother wolf heading back to the den with the spirit raven flying alongside her. It is inspired by a wolf in Yellowstone that lived for 11 years, giving birth to her last litter in 2024 the year I witnessed her interacting with them and the pack. She died that same year on Christmas Day. I used many rich layers of acrylic paint along with colored pencil and pencil to depict the raven and writings and line work in the background. It comes ready to hang with the sides painted black. See less
