In 14 karat yellow gold with platinum-topped elements.

Likely a conversion from a stickpin or earring with a slightly flattened, off-center shank.

Comprised of a central square emerald-cut ca. 0.45± ct. sapphire (Transparency: Transparent, Color Hue: Blue, Saturation: Moderately Strong. Treatment: No Evidende of Treatment) surrounded by 8 Old European cut diamonds (ca. 0.35± ctw, Color: H-I, Clarity: VS-SI). The sapphire has not been heat treated.

Accompanied by a GEMLAB (Gemological Appraisal Laboratory) report no. GAL202410434.

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
There is wear and some fritting to the sapphire (principally to the facet edges). Otherwise, there is some edge wear, some modest irregualrity in the prongs, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
