Description:

This large-scale devotional sculpture depicts the Virgin Mary as Our Lady of Lourdes, featuring traditional iconographic elements including a faded blue ribbon at the waist and rosary beads draped over the forearm. The original polychrome finish displays extensive weathering, with significant paint loss revealing the concrete substrate beneath. A particularly striking area of bare concrete appears as a horizontal strip on the face.

The statue's heavily distressed surface exhibits all-over craquelure and paint loss consistent with prolonged outdoor exposure.
