In the form of a stylized nude woman with two rearing horses.

In clear glass with small gold fleck inclusions in the horses tails, manes, and eyes, and the woman's hair. Fused onto a round, domed plinth.

Likely dates to circa 1937, after the merger of S.A.I.A.R. Ferro Toso and Barovier with the characteristic weightiness of Barovier's work.

With losses to woman's right hand.

Simply a wonderfully rare Venetian glass sculpture!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
The woman's right hand is missing. There are no other chips, cracks, or repairs noted. With a pontil mark to the chest and elbows of each horse from the making. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
