Antique map titled 'Belgii Universi seu Inferioris Germaniae quam XVII Provinciae (\.)'. Map of the Seventeen Provinces after Tobias Meier, published by Homann's Heirs in 1748. The Seventeen Provinces were a personal union of states in the Low Countries in the 15th century and 16th century. The lands were about the same as the current Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, a good part of the North of France (Artois, French Flanders), and a small part of Western Germany. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
