A superb late Victorian glass "cluck cluck" decanter dating to c1900.
It has its original four sided stopper which has a large applied Sunflower Prunt on the top with smaller examples on the sides. The shape is the classic so called 'cluck cluck' which comes from the noise that the decanter makes when poring. It has applied rigaree on the each corner with large sunflower prunts at the top and bottom with further smaller prunts around the bowl. Star cut circular foot.
This is a stunning high quality decanter, almost certainly French Baccarat. To our knowledge only Baccarat used applied sunflower prunts rather than standard raspberry etc. Unfortunately, these decanters are rare and trying to find another example has proven difficult.

Condition
Excellent, no chips, cracks, or restoration. Some minor residue at the internal base of the decanter.
