A Scottish Masonic Firing glass dating to c1840.
It has a drawn trumpet bowl with the lodge number 267 engraved on the side. Sits on a thick solid firing foot with a polished pontil.
Its a classic mid 19th century firing glass style, lodge number 267 being on the Roll of The Grand Lodge of Scotland in the Province of Aberdeen East based in Strichen, just south of Fraserburgh and was established in 1834.
Obviously once belonged to a past member.
