This work falls within the scope of workshops active in the Papal States at the decline of the 17th century, which originated from the schools of great Roman masters such as Andrea Sacchi, Pietro da Cortona, and Carlo Maratta, etc. The painting is on its original canvas and has never been restored, featuring an early 18th-century black and gold lacquered frame, mirroring the painting's creation between the late 17th and early 18th century. The canvas measures 64 x 49cm, while the frame measures 77 x 62 cm. The painting is on its original canvas and in excellent condition. It shows no signs of restoration and could be cleaned of accumulated dust and dirt, which, however, gives it a certain charm. A certificate of authenticity is included with the sale. See less
