The plant compendium composed of summer fruits is placed on a terrain with multiple support levels with a clear sky in the background. Although the painting bears an old attribution to the prestigious transalpine painter Maximillian Pfeiler, it is more plausible that this painting was executed in the Emilian area by a worthy Italian or foreign painter during the first half of the 18th century. The painting is equipped with a gilded 'Salvador Rosa' frame from the period. The painting is in excellent condition.
