The painting is characterized by a great variety in the types of flowers, depicted by the artist through an airy composition in which he seems to have wanted to paint them as in a sample book, one by one. The colors are vivid and emerge from the dark backgrounds. We can attribute this canvas, due to the type of composition and variety of natural elements, to the area of the Venetian painter born in Rovigo, Elisabetta Marchionni. The condition of the canvas is very good, and the canvas has probably been relined during an old restoration. The frame it is provided with is antique and can be dated between the late 17th century and the early 18th century, as is the painting. The measurements of the canvas are: 107cm in length x 81 cm in height / 120 cm x 96cm including the frame. A historical certificate of authenticity will be attached to the sale. See less
