Pitcher from the Fruit Basket collection created by SANAA designers on behalf of Officina Alessi. The collection is based on the Tea & Coffe Towers coffee and tea service entered in the competition by the Japanese designers at SANAA. The aim of the competition was to give renowned architects an opportunity to make a statement in the field of industrial design and to create an impetus for the development of 21st-century design in Alessi's Italian 'dream factory'.
The squat shape of the teapot is inspired by the shape of fruit. Extremely delicate accents in the form of the handle and the lid handle give the design a unique character..
The cool, shiny steel fruit from the Fruit Basket series is an unusual, original and beautiful decoration made of the highest quality materials.
Designed by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa for Alessi, the SANNA Fruit Basket Tea service is a beautiful stainless service comprising of the Creamer with lid and sugar bowl with lid and underplate
