This vintage silvered oval mirror features a beveled edge creating a beautiful relief effect, surrounded by a double sculpted and painted wooden frame. The first frame is a simple, convex oval with brown radiating lines imitating wood, and the second is a bas-relief with art-deco motifs highlighted with gold leaf. Designed to be hung horizontally with a sophisticated tassel system attached by brass ogives. This luxurious and charming piece, reminiscent of jacques-emile ruhlmann, is attributed to france, 1930.

condition: in good original condition with wear, scratches, and patina on all surfaces. Note a small spot in the mirror's silvering near the lower edge and some cracks in the gilded bas-relief. See less
