Country Cottage with Chickens - Rural Landscape in Oil on Canvas
Idyllic country landscape with chickens by unknown artist PN Soden. A country cottage is the main subject of this piece, with chickens feeding in the yard. The roofs of a few other cottages can be seen just over the hill in the distance. Beyond the other cottages, there is a dramatic sky, with gray-blue, pink, and yellow clouds. This piece has some nice impasto in the paint, revealing the artist's brushstrokes.
