This is a lot of five Spode or Copeland demitasse teacups and saucers. The vendor I bought them from had labeled them Spode Admoral (or Admiral?), but I don’t find any such pattern. The set is white with a teal blue band at the rim and silver or platinum trim. Each piece has a military looking shield with a mans head at the top. I supposed he could be Admoral. This is a set of four demitasse teacups and four matching saucers.
Each teacup measures 2.25 inches across the rim and is 2 3/8 inches tall and deep. Each saucer is 4.75 inches wide.
The teacups are marked Spode and Copeland as shown and T Goode Co of London.
Google gave me this information-which may or may not apply. "Spode Admiral" likely refers to the Spode Admiral Nelson pattern, a design inspired by the famous Admiral Horatio Nelson and produced around the same time as similar patterns by Chamberlains Worcester and Coalport. This pattern is characterized by its vibrant colors and intricate design, often featuring elements related to Nelson's naval career. The problem is Admiral Nelson looks nothing like the man on the teacups unless there is a thirty year age difference. Also, Admiral Nelson did not bring up any porcelain patterns like this. So, I don’t know.
The set of ten pieces has no chips, cracks, crazing, trim loss or other damage.
