The burnished female figure and the patinated male figure fit together just as a couple should.
MARKINGS; Signed on back Pappayiannis (in Greek letters).
MADE in Greece circa 1989.
MEASURES 4-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 16" tall
Very good pre-owned condition. No chips, breaks, cracks, scratches or other damage found. No repairs.
Papagiannis' work is held by many collections and stands in public places in Greece and elsewhere, including his sculpture "The Runners" at O'Hare International Airport, Chicago.
