Exquisitely framed pair of diminutive Scherenschnitt paper cut silhouettes with fairytale imagery. Acquired from the estate of a collector, provenance unknown.
Matching frames and blue-green silk mats. Photos taken in bright sunlight and indoors to show the color of the mat. Color is much more muted in person.
Likely framed in the 1980's based on the label from the framing company.
