Details: This Danish teak tall sideboard / highboard has three sliding doors above drawers. The left and right doors have matching grain, and the central door has interesting and rare veneerwork. The left and central sections have shelving, and the right has a mirrored bar section and drawer. The art of furnituremaking in Denmark arose postwar, out of small town cabinetmaker’s shops. This means that a lot of pieces do not have a known designer affiliated with them, and were made in a shop employing only a few people — high quality pieces with no famous name are actually fairly common!
