Details: A rosewood coffee or side table with beautiful grain and a design that allows the top to appear suspended. The art of furnituremaking in Denmark arose postwar, out of small town cabinetmaker’s shops. This means that a lot of pieces do not have a known designer affiliated with them, and were made in a shop employing only a few people — high quality pieces with no famous name are actually fairly common! This has been tentatively ID'd as being by Illum Wikkelsø, but the provenance is uncertain.
