This silver plated salt cellar is a product from WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) a German company known for its metalware, including silver-plated items and kitchenware.
Originally this would have had a cut crystal glass liner where the salt would have been kept but unfortunately this is no longer with it, we expect this would have been broken and discarded.
The last picture is the original listing in the WMF book, page 25, model number 269/2. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
