The frame, finely carved in carved and lacquered wood, is distinguished by its elaborate Rococo style, with scrolls, counter-curves, and curlicue motifs that lend a lightness and dynamism to the overall effect. The surface retains its original lacquer, with a creamy white background and blue trim, enriched with polychrome floral ornaments in relief—including graceful carved roses—arranged at key points in the composition.

The mirror is in good condition, with signs of wear consistent with its age and some minor repairs to the lacquer. Note the regluing, traces of inactive woodworm, and the recent replacement of both the mirror and the back. Its generous dimensions (approximately 100 cm wide and 140 cm high) suggest it was likely originally intended for a noble setting, such as a reception room or boudoir, making this mirror a rare example of 18th-century Ligurian rocaille decoration, exquisite in its size, elegance, and color scheme.
