Daybed designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Getama in Denmark during the 1950s. Constructed in beech with veneered side panels and upholstered in wool fabric.
The backrest lifts to convert the sofa into a daybed and reveals a concealed storage compartment suitable for bedding. The seat and backrest foam have been replaced and reupholstered in grey-green wool fabric from Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik (Koksdal 220).
Good vintage condition overall, with visible age-related wear on the side panels, as shown in the photos. This piece has an attribution mark,
