The Pinion Jay is one that I am very fortunate to see where I live, often, even though their numbers are declining. The playful painting depicts a couple of jays up close with a flock flying behind them. I used many shades of blue including various temperatures and saturations as well. It is painted on a stretched canvas and the sides are painted a deep blue and comes ready to hang. See less
