The … Read more Nice antique American mid 19th century country Victorian secretary desk. Desk comes apart in 2 pieces so easily moved. The drop front opens to reveal a nicely fitted interior with drawers and cubby holes. There is a shelved interior below and the 2 shelves in the top or bookcase section are adjustable. This is a nice size not to big. Only 38" wide and 17 3/4" deep and stands 85" tall. Inside the bookcase section the shelves are 9 3/4" deep. Piece was refinished years ago. There are some dark areas from old scratches. Minor wear to the finish. Structurally piece is in very nice condition. The drawers of the interior show wear to the finish. Nice country piece that is also functional. See less
