Rooted in the time-honored aesthetics of Persian tribal weaving, this striking rug draws from the soulful artistry of Gabbeh tradition. The central ivory field establishes a prayer niche format, punctuated by a central diamond medallion rendered in deep madder red with internal geometric subdivision. The medallion's cruciform extensions create vertical emphasis, enhanced by flanking zoomorphic motifs interpreted as stylized birds or protective spirits, fundamental elements in Luri cosmological symbolism. Border design employs reciprocal sawtooth patterning with individual teeth measuring precise angular increments.
