Each lamp is handcrafted by … Read more This exquisite pair of table lamps unites mid-20th-century Dutch ceramic tradition with refined contemporary craftsmanship. Each lamp is handcrafted by Amitābha Studio in Amsterdam using original Royal Delft Blue vases, hand-painted in 1978 and 1979 by master artisans at De Porceleyne Fles—now known as Royal Delft, the oldest surviving Delftware factory established in 1653.

The vase bases feature intricate cobalt blue floral and bird motifs inspired by Ming dynasty porcelain, rendered in Royal Delft’s signature palette. Topped with custom-made drum shades in luminous light green silk, finished with coordinating passementerie trim, the lamps offer an elegant contrast of texture and tone. Deep blue twisted cords echo the hand-brushed detailing of the ceramic bases, visually tying the composition together.

Can be fully wired for U.S. use and compatible with global outlets. The vases remain unaltered in the lamp-making process, preserving their historical and artistic integrity. This piece has an attribution mark,
