This large brass version, with a bell diameter of 49 cm and a height of 25 cm, is designed as a pendant lamp with a side pull. Side pull refers to the ability to vary the distance of the cable between the hanging bell shade and the power outlet on the ceiling as desired. The power cable doesn't always emerge from the ceiling at the same point where, for example, the dining table is placed.
Between the power connection on the ceiling and the bell of the lamp, a solid brass ball is movably mounted on a long black textile cable. This ball acts as a counterweight to the bell shade and allows the user to easily adjust the height of the shade. In this way, the brass ball keeps the shade balanced in any position. The height of the lamp can be adjusted between approximately 95 cm and 170 cm.
